Also, if you know someone you think would enjoy Storyslinger, please share it with them. Anyone who signs up before midnight tonight will get a free paid subscription for the month of November!
News
This month launches the new Storyslinger newsletter and I have written a monthly newsletter that covers the goings on. And there is a lot to talk about. It will be the first official publication and comes out tomorrow.
Originals
This month’s original story is based on an actual dream that I had. On its surface, it’s a story about becoming a father and facing mortality. But as the story builds, it becomes more about how we live and what is important in a life well lived. It’s called “Father’s Fury,” and certainly has some angry overtones. I’m sure you will feel something about it that’s worth commenting. It will post on 8 November.
Podcast
This month’s episode is about Substack, of course. I will also review a book by another author. My reading will be the original story published this month, “Father’s Fury.” The episode will be available here at Substack (along with the transcript) on 15 November. It will also go out in an email and you can listen to it from within your email or in the Substack app.
Goodies
There will be a giveaway this month (🥳), stay tuned for details. And don’t forget that all three 2022 book releases (Vodou Princess, Advisor, and The Sea at Sunrise) are now available in paperback on Amazon. They make great gifts for the coming holiday season!
Enjoy the launch…and Happy Halloween! 🎃👻🦇🧟
And thanks for being part of the journey!
Look forward to reading your upcoming short story!
Thanks, Daniel. I’m looking forward to your feedback!
